Intro
The art, presented here draws from the concept (originating from analytical psychology founder Carl Jung) known as the collective unconscious, which encompasses the language of archetypes — which are realized in myths, symbols, dreams and many other manifestations of the imagination. Of particular interest to me is the Anima, the unconscious feminine side of a man’s personality. The Anima (or Animus in women) serve as “soul guides” to the hidden areas of our inner potential.
This body of work is also about the appreciation of things as beautiful and wondrous, by presenting them in a unique context. There are no hidden messages here — my approach is purely intuitive, not intellectual. You may feel indifferent or something may resonate in you after viewing this work.
